Multicooker does a bit of everything

We ask much of our kitchen gear, often pushing whatever we have past its limits. Forks get used as knives, blenders are put into action as food processors, toaster ovens suddenly become complete-meal makers; anything to avoid dirtying another pot, pan, or dish, right? As such, it has become commonplace to find appliances that have multiple functions built right in.
The Cuisinart Multi Cooker is a slow cooker, a steamer, a roaster, and a frying pan all rolled up into one. Especially convenient is the saut?ing function. Instead of breaking out a frying pan to brown meats before roasting or transferring into a slow cooker, one can accomplish the task directly in the multicooker. Browning adds flavor via the Maillard reaction, and browning in the multicooker means no extra pans to wash.

Bosch, Siemens and Neff brands have new centres

Neff AquaAssist single oven

Good things come in threes they say, and on the third day of the third month three first class showroom and training facilities opened at the BSH UK headquarters in Milton Keynes.
The Bosch, Siemens and Neff brands are the big beasts of the up-market electrical retailer and showroom market and the simultaneous opening of three centres of excellence underlines their combined strength within the sector. Industry sources put the total investment north of £8m, but however much it cost it looks like money well spent.
